Questions
What does it cost?
Nothing. Equity 101 is free.
How many people can register?
Registration is limited to 20 individuals per cohort. This lets BCHC follow the first few groups closely and provide tech support where it’s needed.
When can I start?
Registration opens October 15, 2026. Course content unlocks November 1, 2026, when the first cohort begins — after that you can start whenever you’re ready.
Do I need a background in equity work?
No. Equity 101 starts from first principles — what equity is, and why it matters for local government — before moving into applying an equity lens in practice.
What happens after I finish?
You’ll receive a completion certificate. Three months later we’ll send a short survey asking how you’ve used what you learned.
Everyone deserves a healthy community to live in.
