PlanH webinar: Creating attainable housing through innovative land use planning 

BC Healthy Communities hosted a 60-minute PlanH webinar on October 1, 2025, that explored how innovative land use planning can unlock more attainable housing options across B.C.

The session featured expert insights, a community case study, and an interactive Q&A designed to help participants understand how linking housing with social infrastructure, building strong partnerships, and adopting policy initiatives can support healthy, inclusive communities.

Speakers included Steven Collyer, Housing and Policy Initiatives Manager with the City of Penticton, and Erika Sagert, Director of Sector Capacity Services and Acting Director of Policy and Education at the BC Non-Profit Housing Association.
