The B.C. Community Road Safety Toolkit is an easily-accessible and electronically-searchable knowledge source about road safety designs and strategies that local governments can implement to improve road safety outcomes. At the same time, the knowledge in the toolkit is intended for all agencies with a mandate related to road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The introduction to the BC Community Road Safety Toolkit and the three modules of the toolkit are linked below. They are shaped by evidence-based best practice in community road safety design and has been designed to consolidate and disseminate knowledge about proven and promising road safety designs, strategies, and devices. The toolkit also includes a list of funding opportunities through which to achieve road safety improvements in support of safe, active transportation, healthy built environment and active aging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
