She specializes in natural resource planning and management, climate change adaptation, and brownfield planning.
Through her work with communities, Christine is acutely aware of the role that health and wellness plays in creating thriving communities. Her volunteer role with the BC Healthy Communities Society since 2006 provides the opportunity to work alongside other community representatives to influence healthy communities. The focus is upon policy and program development to ensure the provision of a vibrant (ecological, social, and economic) economy, affordable housing, protection of parks and green space, accessible community services, ethnic and cultural diversity, and engaged citizens. A healthy community is all of this, and more.
