Carly is an eager and enthusiastic community connector. She is passionate about supporting communication and connection through efficiency and excitement. Carly designs events and executes projects that bring people together. She contributes her knowledge, passion and love of the arts to the team at BC Healthy Communities, with the goal of empowering communities across British Columbia. 

Carly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria with a double major in Psychology and Gender Studies, focusing largely on social justice through an intersectional framework. During her graduating year, she was awarded the Jamie Cassels Undergraduate Research Award for her contribution to knowledge about food sustainability in Victoria. She has worked with a variety of local entrepreneurs and organizations on social impact and health & wellness initiatives, such as the Victoria Yoga Conference and TEDxVictoria. Carly is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and performs as a spoken word artist, celebrating self-expression and creativity.
